Room Alert 26W is one of AVTECH Software's most advanced hardware solutions for "Computer Room Environment Monitoring, Alerting & Automatic Corrective Action". It is designed specifically to assist with monitoring computer room temperature, humidity, power, flood and much more in multiple locations, while utilizing wireless technology to avoid running cables. Room Alert 26W's Wireless Sensor Hubs (WiSH) communicate via a secure, private protocol that is ZigBee compatible, allowing users the ability to monitor large numbers of sensors both indoors and out up to 250´ away. Room Alert 26W allows alert notifications via email, email-to-SMS, SNMP and more to devices like computers, mobile phones, pagers and PDAs. Room Alert 26W also offers an easy to use web browser interface for settings changes and viewing real-time temperature, humidity and environment sensor status from anywhere.
Room Alert 26W monitors rooms ranging from very small, unmanned phone or wiring closets to extremely large, corporate data centers. Since WiSH sensors are battery powered and communicate directly with the main unit, Room Alert 26W can monitor virtually anywhere. This means inside a rack cabinet, air vent, sub floor or other location. Room Alert 26W includes (1) built-in digital temperature sensor, (1) built in digital humidity sensor, (1) built in main power sensor, (1) built-in flood sensor (just add cable), (1) external digital temperature sensor and (1) external room entry sensor that can be located up to 100´ from the ID box or sensor hub. On the back of the Room Alert 26W unit are 16 built-in switch sensor contact sets that can accommodate a variety of environment sensors. Each WiSH sensor includes (1) built-in digital temperature sensor, (2) open digital sensor ports and (1) switch sensor contact set. Additional sensors are available to monitor temperature, humidity, power, flood, smoke, motion, sound, light air flow, room entry, panic buttons and more. Wherever environment monitoring is important, Room Alert acts like a silent watchman to alert the right people at the right time and by the right method when environment changes occur.
